Your Rights at a Glance

 Speeding Tickets:
Please be advised that traffic enforcement has surged over the past several months and we should all be more careful when driving. However, if you have been given a citation for speeding there are adverse consequences.

First, you may receive points on your driver’s license. Secondly, the levying of these points on your license will likely result in an increase in your insurance rates for three years. Because of these factors alone it is typically better to seek a reduction or dismissal of the charges brought against you as a licensed driver. I can provide that service, and most cases ensure that you do not have to appear in court and take time away from work or family. My legal fee for minor traffic violations starts at $125. If you have questions, please contact me as time is of the essence.

July 2009:
The law firm officially opened its doors to the public on July 1, 2009. Since that time, we have been taking in clients. As a matter of fact, our firm assisted one client in particular who had a speeding charge, driving on revoked license and two failures to appear in two different North Carolina counties. These were serious charges, considering they were compounded because Mr. Phillips’ client missed the original court dates several years before seeking our assistance. However, through good communication with the District Attorney a successful conclusion of the matter was obtained, including the dismissal of two of the charges.

Mr. Phillips was also successful in assisting a utility client resolve a matter before the North Carolina Utilities Commission.
